Landing on Hammond Shoal (Video)

Not really sure why, but Nick and I decided to stand on Hammond Shoal today..

There is nothing funny or exciting about this one so don't expect too much.
This was really just the last thing we did while filming for another video.
This footage didn't fit into the main project, but we thought we would show it anyway.

Perhaps someone can tell us why they call it Hammond Shoal?

ha. Mrs. Hammond was a sweetheart who still rowed a skiff on calm mornings well into her 80's. They lived to the right of Rick and Missy's house if you stand on the shoal looking at shore. I lived on that point and hit that shoal... after puting the Save The River marker in on year. diverted attention? I never DID walk on it though. well done!

The Hammonds used to live on that point years ago, thats where the shoal got that name.
