Ok Guys come on this is the real deal, it was on last weeks, Monster Quest on tv. Totally for real, from a live video taped dive, way up north it was like 200 miles from the ocean in about 40-80 feet of water near a dock. The Bull Sharks have been caught all the way up the Missippi too. Great show check it out online.

It could be true the St. Lawrence has Gobies which are a saltwater fish. Anything is possible when ships are coming from saltwater territory into freshwater. Next thing you know we'll be have shark attacks on local beaches.

Hey Tim, was the moose swimming upriver, eating people? In dark murky water it's possible to see big scary fish when diving...they aren't all sharks. Where this was filmed was in brackish water, and it's still a tolerable habitat for sharks. I doubt that a shark would survive the pure fresh water further upriver. The lack of electrolyte interferes with their ability to navigate and seek prey.

Bull sharks tolerate fresh water and can travel far up rivers. Look for Bull@3$#

Why does this seem so hard to belive? We are fishing out hte oceans and predators are going to look for new food sources. SAme reason we see Sea Gulls way inland picking worms out of the soil while farmers plow. Went will we wake up to the fact that we are ruining our oceans and seas?

This is nothing new, they have been seen as far as clayton ny 30 yers ago.The sharks would follow the ships up the river because the ships would dump garbage and the sharks seemed to like that kind of food.
