Community support for the Savage Family continues..

They and their 6 children lost their home and all their belongings to fire a few days ago..

Anyway... yesterday we annouced a check for them for $500.00.. and a series of meal donations from local restaurants.. and well, now we have another $500.00 check.. and more restaurant meal donations..

This time it's from the Alexandria Community Thrift store. The Thrift Store has also offered free clothing for the family to pick through at their storefront on Rt. 12 near the Thousand Islands Bait Store.



In additition to that we have a few more restaurant donations..

Riveredge is going to treat the family to breakfast.

Dan's Cheesesteak is going to give them a gift certificate.

The Korner will be giving them a gift certificate as well.

If anyone wants to help the family out donations can be left at The Alexandria Central School or at the Redwood Fire Department.. I'm told you can actually just leave boxes at the Fire Department if no one is there.
