Folks have been asking me to take some pictures of the current water levels in Alexandria Bay so yesterday I took a few shots.
So is it low? Hell yeah it's low.. Many people have said it's the lowest they have seen the river this early in October in their lifetimes.. Some folks blame the lack of rain earlier this year, some folks blame the Board of Control, and some folks blame Jebus..
Whatever the reason, it means a lot of folks got their boats our early and those that remain have to be very careful.. Hell, even the ocean liners have to lighten their loads.. and god forbid any of them hit bottom and lose 1000's of gallons of fuel, oil, or whatever.. That's really the worst case scenario.
Anyway, I just took the pictures to get people asking off my case.. so if you're so inclined go argue amongst yourselves about it in the comments area.. :)
Lastly, if you have any pictures of the low water send them to abaynews@gmail.com. If their decent I'll put them up for everyone to check out.. THANKS..
