Carnegie Bay Estates Fire - Bartenders Save Lives! - Wednesday, July 04, 2007 at 2:56:32 PM
Early this morning around 3:30 am there was a fire at the Carnegie Bay Estates at the end of Anthony Street in Alexandria Bay. Thanks to two local individuals who came upon the scene no one was hurt.
We have video from the scene as well as Interviews with Bryan Tidd and Jim Covey who discovered the fire and helped to wake people up and get them away from the building. These guys literally broke down doors to get people awake and aware of the fire.
Left to right. Bryan Tidd of Alexandria Bay, Jim Covey of Watertown
And as always a big thanks to NewzJunky.com for linking to this news item.

Thank you so much for alerting everyone about the fire! If you hadn't called 911 my apartment could have gone up as well with my husband, me, and our 7 month old son inside. You really saved everyone that lives here including my family. Thank you VERY much!
