So nearly everyday when I am out and about someone comes up to me and tells me how great the site is and how much they enjoy it. They tell me they check it everyday. They tell me they are addicted.

That being said...  Let me tell you a few things about the site.

  • I usually spend anywhere from 4-8 hours a day doing something with the site. Sometimes I am out getting news, sometimes I am searching the internet for news items, sometimes I am working on new features, sometimes I am editing videos, sometimes I am out fixing the webcams or installing new ones, and sometimes I am just tweaking things.
  • The site is quite busy with an average of 5000 Unique Visitors Daily and it costs me a lot to keep everything running. Between the hosting fees, bandwidth usage, new software costs, and web cam equipment I spend a small fortune every month. The web cams eat up more bandwidth in a day then I used to use in a month.
  • I pretty much get ZERO support from local business. Hardly any of them pay to be listed on the site. Very few of them advertise, and the majority of them don't seem to understand how much this site can help them or realize that I have been helping promote the bay for over 10 years with this site.
  • Lastly, very few people send in any pictures or news...

Basically, if you like the site and you want to help out please start sending things in. If every person that regularly visited this site sent something in once in a while the site would be a lot better for everyone.

Folks, I am not going to do it alone forever. If people don't start participating I may very well shut this site down someday. It's takes up way too much of my time for what I get out of it.

Anyway, there is an email link right on the homepage that you can use to send me pictures and news. It is right in the middle under the links to the webcams and above the site news section.

It says Email Local News & Pictures 24/7

The email address for submitting pictures and news to the site is also located in the big blue graphic about 3 inches under this text.

You can even send pictures and news to that email address using a cell phone.
