Anyone remember this place? I only got to go there 5 or 6 times when I was a kid, but I remember it being pretty cool.
It was right by the T.I. Bridge.
The tube rapids ride was brutal but so much fun. They used to do this crazy dive show too that I remember watching.
This is the only picture of the place I can find. If anyone has any Waterfun Village pictures please send them in and I will post them

| I remember this place and actually got stopped by a NYS Trooper when I was looking to see any 'old remains' there a couple summers ago. There was a road that went down towards the bridge, and apparently its well guarded because I didn't make it very far down before I had a trooper pulling up next to me. He didnt have any idea what I was talking about tho. Gosh, WFV was a cool addition to our summer vacations to Alex Bay! I would LOVE for something like that to come back. Such great memories!!

| Of course I remember Waterfun Village... Bridget M, Charlie C, my sister Tracey and I were in the commercial! I think my mom might still have the tape of it... I will have to look.

I cannot imagine for the life of me why something like this does not exist any longer? You think of summer, water, vaction...the water park thing is ideal, and this looks like it was a cool place for its location too? Go figure!

| I grew up in Syracuse but would go there once a summer on our way to Boldt Castle. I remember the water slides and rapids, and all the sudden my knee started to hurt...flashbacks from all the bruises...lol. Will see if I can dig up some pics from my mother. I now live in Philly, PA, but I'm coming back up this week actually. Pirates Weekend...Can't wait!!!

| Over by edgewood somewhere could be an ideal location though I am sure people living near there would complain. You can't do anything in this town without people arguing and complaining and stopping all good ideas. Regardless, that isn't the point of this news item. Send in some pictures and video of waterfun if anyone has it. I am also looking for a brochure in good shape.

| Earlier this season I caught part of a conversation between 2 customers where I work concerning negotiations for property in the Bay area to build an indoor theme park like they now have in Old Forge. During the time of WaterFun Village the weather wasn't always so nice, alot of rain or cold days, let alone the short season, but a year round one with perhaps some outside exposed water activites, now that would be nice!!!

| This is what Alexandria Bay needs to get back to. If they had this back and kept on adding yo it it could be like old Forge. A family theme park is the answer to bring families to A Bay..Don't you get it???
