Here is a recap of the more memorable Abay.com news items from Summer 2007 and a little bit before summer too. We started things off by trying to make Captain Citizen of the Year. I even hooked him up with some theme music that some of you may recognize. I am told he only lost by 10 votes. hehe GIVE YOUR VOTE TO THE COMMON MAN!! Then a pre-summer Photo Shoot for the June Bike Rally Huge Motorcycle Rally & Photo Shoot Ashbacher (sp) beat the hell out his own truck. GO BACK TO REDWOOD!! Memorial Day Parade Memorial Day 2007 (Pictures & Video) - We lost Eric Eric J. Hutchinson (You Shall Be Missed) Noodle became famous THE NOODLE!! (WORLD PREMIER -MUSIC VIDEO) The Bike Rally happened. TI River Run Pics (Fri Night) TI River Run Pics (Saturday) I met a guy named Larry who puked his brains out. Larry Pukes in Abay (Featuring JPShaggy) Ferrency did a little dance. Matt Ferency Has Got The Moves! A guy named Andre gives us a very interesting Interview. The Andre Fiche Interview! We had a motorcyle stunt show. Vertical Outlaws Motorcycle Show (Submitted Video) Dr. Ruth was here. Dr. Ruth Visits Boldt Castle Brian Leonard was here. Brian Leonard -2007 Draft Pick For Rams at Skiffs Tidd & Covey became Angels and I did my 1ST REAL NEWS PIECE (This beat Channel 7 news to the punch by 2 hours and was on NewzJunky) Carnegie Bay Estates Fire - Bartenders Save Lives! The camera was attacked by the friend of the Canadian Penis Guy. The Canadian Penis Guy Incident! (VIDEO) We had our July 4th Fireworks Abay 4th July 2007 Fireworks (VIDEO) I made a little video about the River. Saint Lawrence River Video Critter had dog jaw! DOG JAW! We had surprise fireworks! Surprise Fireworks !! Gunther got 6 years. Alexandria Bay Man Sentenced To 6 Years The Potters Beach pictures started a comment war. Potters Beach (Submitted Pictures) The Goodyear Blimp passed by Goodyear Blimp Passes Over River The Pirates Invaded Pirate Days (Pictures Day 1 - Pictures) Pirate Days (Video Day 1 - Video) My Uncle Mike told me "Pirates Weekend is not only for drunks but for families and kids. ". Abays Littlest and Scariest Pirates !! Jimmy got captured Pirate Scum Capture Jimmy The Meter Guy!! My buddy C.J. sent this message to his friends in Lauderdale Yo Ft. Lauderdale !! (Message From CJ) I had some videos from being on Kenny K's Boat Kenny's Fast POS Boat (Video) Boat Trip Home Back To The Upper Docks (Video) Lake Of The Isles - Sat Aug 11th (Video) Trip Thru The Rift - Sat Aug 11th (Video) Pontoon Plane At Lake Of The Isles (Video) We dressed Nick up as a Transformer and hit the town. Optimus Prime Visits Abay (Video) The Picton Island Party Happened TributeTo Hutch JPShaggy Dead Or Alive (Video) JPShaggy From Picton Beach (Video) Picton Island Party (Pictures) We had a Pirate Parade to officially end Pirate Days Pirate Days Parade (Video) We had the Blues Festival Blues In The Bay - Saturday (Pictures & Video) All in all I think I did a pretty good job. I covered some things quite well, some things not so well, I made you laugh, I made you cry, and I am sure I completly disgusted some of you.

The Summer Re-Cap was great man, It was even better to have made a cameo on the Transformer Adventure with Nick "(Dude He's Optimus Prime)". The site is great, keep up the good work.
Abay.com is the best site to surf if you miss the Bay. It's like I'm there all the time. The Web Cams are awesome too, I love looking to see the weather :) Oh! And the occasional drunk adventure/rampage.

I echo your sentiments, Mystic...although we live 450 miles from abay, my wife and I were at the Fisherman's Wharf on the night that Hutch died. We were the first responders and could never have been left with a more helpless feeling...bless his family and memory.

I'm sure like many I was drawn to Hutch's story, still a very sensitive area for me, in fact I had to walk away from my computer to regain my composure after viewing it. And I'm not embarrassed to say every Sunday morning after I start my laundry I take a ride out into the country checking out the wildlife I might get to see. I always end up going by the cemetery and atleast hollering out a hello to Hutch, Jessie Monica, Phil and Bobbie Wills, four locals gone far too soon, but never to be forgotten.
Sometimes I think I even see Hutch 1 going by out of the corner of my eye.
I can't wait for the memorial hockey tournament in January, it will be a remarkable tribute to a remarkable young man we all loved.
