After I read that article on the Interpol Site about reversing the effect of the Twirl Filter I decided to conduct my own test.
I started with a picture of Wild Bill the crazy Canadian.
I applied the Photoshop Twirl Effect at +999 and saved the image.
I then opened the image back up and applied the Photoshop Twirl Effect with a -999 setting.

And Holy Shit if my reconstructed image doesn't look like Mr. Furley !!
It would seem my calculations were a little off. |
