MINUS MIKE AT SKIFFS
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 2ND 9PM - 1AM
They played at the hutch benefit and I thought they we're really good.
I am not sure about the other members, but the guy on the right is an Alex Bay local and he can play the guitar like a mothertrucker.

| I got a sh*tload of great video. Over an hour. Been working on getting off the camera via firwire for an hour now. Getting pretty tired but be on the lookout because I will have it up as soon as I can. Just need to catch some sleep then get in a few hours for editing. Mide afternoon Sunday i should have something up.

| Just finished watching M.M. jam @ Skiffs, couldn't hear a damn thing but u could tell they had the crowd aroused. Pretty sure i recognized some local celebs like Critter, R. Thornton,B.Slocum, Double D Sanford, and of course Dougie Senecal. Looks like y'all had a great time, makes me miss "home". Keep up those live cams!

Johnny Spence is the lightning to the storm- He is a thunder god of sound! A melodic deedler on speed.

| Minus Mike is a class act. That Johnny Spence is a self-taught guitar wiz! His first axe was a "homemader" from ACS shop class, I think it only had 4 strings on it, too. I'd listen to him plunk away on that thing for hours, it was just awful! But look at him now, he's a regular rock star, persistence pays off! So, if you see Johnny around town, tell him his sister is his biggest fan. And to all you 1000 Islanders, get out there and support the local talent, there's some amazing musicians in the area.

| The other members include Mel Calhoun, Toby O'Brien on bass, Terry Jones on the drums & of course the mothertrucker who can really play is A-Bay's own John Spence. Your right they are GOOD!
