Trash Fire Near Dancing Dog (Video & Pictures) - Tuesday, June 03, 2008 at 5:58:00 AM


When I awoke today I had 3 pictures submitted via cell phone. They were sent around 3:30 am.
I decided to go down and see what happened and I took a little video of what appears to be a trash fire of some sort near the Dancing Dog Bar..


UPDATE: As it is now 10 am and I have more info

Props go out to the State Police and the Alex Bay Fire Department for their quick response to the scene. Good job guys..

If anyone has any information please call the STATE POLICE at 482 2525.

I know when the pager went off my heart dropped when it came across as a possible structure fire downtown abay.

I watched the whole thing at 1:15 this morning as I was sleeping across the street when the call came in. The state police and area police got there first and put the fire out with an extinguisher, then the fire trucks came. It was a huge pile of trash.

Holy crap...that is a huge fire for just being trash. That would be scary. Thanks JT for getting up and wandering around at 3:30 a.m. Above and beyond!
