I met RFK and shook hands with him twice while I lived in Watertown and he was campaining for the Senate. 1st on public square, he was in a convertible being held by Rosie Greer I think and 2nd as he came out of the Watertown Times building (side door by the overed area). He would have been a great President. Instead we got Nixon

I graduated from High School the month Robert Kennedy was shot and killed on June 5th 1968. I remember that nite like it happened yesterday. Robert Kennedy was youthful and full of hope and dreams during a time when America was at war in Vietnam and at home.
"Robert Kennedy saw wrong and tried to right it, saw suffering and tried to heal it, saw war and tried to stop it."
As his brother Ted said so elegantly in his eulogy: 'As he said many times, in many parts of this nation, to those he touched and who sought to touch him: "Some men see things as they are and say why. I dream things that never were and say why not."' Robert Kennedy dreams will never die.
