Your day begins at 8:00 AM as you are picked up in a 26 foot Cris Craft. Your Captain has all the bait and tackle you will need for a productive day of fishing.
Ice onboard to chill your beverages and a toilet, just in case.
As you sit back and relax, the islands provide a scenic view while you cruise to your fishing destination.
Bass and Pike are basically what you will be fishing for, but never rule out the unusual.
You may snag a perch, catfish, walleye, or even a mighty muskie.
At lunchtime you can either bring along a lunch or you can plan for a shore dinner. You may take your lunch ashore or eat right on the boat.
For the shore dinner, you will be taken to a private island where you can relax, play some horseshoes, swim, or fish off the dock, while your dinner is being prepared. A wood fire is started and then your fish will be cleaned. You will enjoy bacon to start you off, and then fresh tossed salad with creamy Thousand Island dressing, salt potatoes, and the tastiest fried fish you'll ever have.
Coffee will be brewed to compliment the French toast with real maple syrup for dessert.
It may sound like a big meal, but most fisherman will admit, they work up quite an appetite!
If you choose to bring your lunch you can continue to fish and about 3 PM you will be escorted back to shore where your fish will be cleaned for you. Your memories of "catching the big one," the beauty of the Thousand Islands, and a scrumptious shore dinner, is something you're sure not likely to forget.
