 Topic: Dock of the Bay and The Shipwreck

So whats this I hear that my father lost the Dock of the Bay and The Shipwreck? Is this just another famous rumor Im hearing? And why do so many rumors start? Is it to get some attention or something?

From what I was told and which is totally NOT true. That my father lost the Dock of the Bay and the Shipwreck... The person that told me, well 2 people, from the Bay I guess likes to start rumors because they cant get thier facts straight. As soon as I heard this little rumor I called my father and he and I just laughed about it. My question is, where do these people get their information from cause its not from the horses mouth. But to let you know he didnt lose anything and he plans to be open in May. And Im going to see if he will lower his prices at the Dock of the Bay cause they are a little pricey!

You should never be surprised to here stupid rumors in the bay. The bar talk creates all kinds of goofy stories.

What bothers me the most about all this talk is people saying Paul lost the dock of the bay. If it ends up he does not run it this year it’s not that he lost it, it’s simply a business decision on his part not to pay the asking price for it

If the people who start the rumors would just grow up and act like adults, then none of this BS would never happen. Ive been going on in the Bay for the past 15 years and Ive noticed the rumors are just getting worse! But when there's not much to do there in the winter, I guess you have to talk about something...

Personally, I've heard a couple of different things. I can't tell you what is and isn't true. What I can tell you is that karaoke is coming back to the Bay. I'm playing at the Shipwreck for the season opening on Friday, March 30th. I hope all the area performers have enjoyed there winter vacation and are ready to entertain the masses again. Maybe we'll hear some Chocolate Salty Balls. Ahh...spring must be close.

well ladies and gents , Dock of the Bay will be open soon , Vonna will be behind the bar , she hopes to see all her old friends there , its a case of having to work someplace and they asked her first , hope there are no hard feelings , we sure don't have any , the cast of charactors Bob & Kathy, Dave the Chef , Capt , Vonna ,Shaun the Chef, Varmit maintance , and some players to be named later , hope to see you there , good luck guys
