The Accommodations !
Your Hostess, Suellen, has personalized each room with her cozy country decor. After a comfortable sleep, wake to breakfast. S.S. Suellen will serve Toast, Jam, Coffee and English Muffins to help start your day off right. Relax while you eat in the open air deck, overlooking the St. Lawrence Seaway. You're more than welcome to lounge in the living room for TV or cocktails ( We do not have a liquor license, so please bring your own spirits! ). Bring your swimsuit, you may want to take a dip in or just relax around S.S. Suellen's built-in outdoor heated swimming pool. Smoking is permitted on our open air deck or screened-in porch.
What's A Bed & Breakfast ?
Glad you asked! It's an old custom originated in Europe, where private homes were opened to travelers. Breakfast always accompanied their overnight stay.

The Recreation !
The Thousand Islands offers a multitude of activities such as golfing, water skiing, swimming, motor boating, sail boating, fishing with or without guides and a variety of boat tours. As residents of the thousand Islands, your host and hostess of S.S. Suellen can give you the best recommendations for recreation.

 The Location !
S.S. Suellen is situated on the water of Alexandria bay, which opens up to the main shipping channel of the St. Lawrence Seaway. You'll be in the heart of the 1000 Islands. Within walking distance of S.S. Suellen are souvenir and specialty shops, an art gallery, boat tours, local pubs, and restaurants form casual cafes to formal dining.
The Nightlife !
You've come to the right place, there's variety galore! Again within walking distance, dine casual or formal, see a live Las Vegas-style night club act, dance to live or recorded music, play pinball and computer games at the arcade, take a romantic dinner or dance cruise, or stay behind at the S.S. Suellen and stargaze on their screened-in porch or on their open air deck.		 Great Rates !
All rates include a comfortable room and a small breakfast.

Think of S.S. Suellen for vacations and holidays all year long. The St. Lawrence's fall foliage is spectacular, the white winters are full of ice fishing and cross country skiing, and the spring brings sunny days and beautiful flowers.

A deposit is required and at least one week is needed for cancellations to receive a full refund.
